2. Privacy policy
OPX Consulting LLC, doing business as The Pitch Bureau (“we”, “us”), respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through pitchbureau.com, why, and the choices you have.
2.1 Information we collect
- Information you give us: when you use our contact form, subscribe to our newsletter, book a consultation or buy a service, we collect your name, email address, company name, phone number and the content of your message.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; Stripe handles it under its own security standards (PCI DSS Level 1).
- Technical information: like most websites, our hosting provider and site tools may record your IP address, browser type, pages visited and the time of your visit. If we use website analytics, they only run with your consent where the law requires it.
- Client engagement information: when you become a client, we process the business information you share with us to deliver the service (pitch materials, interviews, documents). This information is treated as confidential.
2.2 How we use it
- To answer your requests and organize consultations
- To deliver, invoice and follow up on the services you purchase
- To send our newsletter, only if you subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time with the link in each email)
- To keep the website secure and understand how it is used
- To comply with our legal, tax and accounting obligations
2.3 Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, under confidentiality obligations: our website host (Hostinger), our payment processor (Stripe), our email and newsletter tools, Google (website services and, with consent, analytics), and, when needed for an engagement and with your agreement, specialists from our network bound by confidentiality. We may also disclose information when required by law.
2.4 Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act and other U.S. state privacy laws, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of its sale or use for targeted advertising (we do neither). To exercise any of these rights, email contact@pitchbureau.com. We will respond within 45 days. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our answer, and, if you are a Texas resident, you may contact the Texas Attorney General.
2.5 Retention and security
We keep prospect information for up to 3 years after our last contact, client information for the duration of the engagement and as long as required by tax and accounting rules, and newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, to protect your information.
2.6 Other points
- Children: our services are intended for professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
- Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: we do not sell personal data or engage in targeted advertising, so these signals do not change how we process your data.
- California residents: this policy is provided in line with the California Online Privacy Protection Act.
- Changes: we may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
3. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies. Strictly necessary cookies keep the website working (for example, remembering your language choice). Analytics cookies, if enabled, help us understand how the site is used and are only placed with your consent where required. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
4. Terms of service
4.1 Scope
These terms apply to all services provided by OPX Consulting LLC under the name The Pitch Bureau, including Pitch Building, Deliver with Impact, Scale with Impact and Grow with Impact. A signed proposal, statement of work or online purchase confirms your acceptance of these terms. If a signed agreement contains different terms, the signed agreement prevails.
4.2 Prices and payment
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and do not include any applicable taxes. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Pitch Building: 50% at the start of the engagement and 50% on delivery.
- Deliver with Impact and Scale with Impact: payment schedule set out in the proposal; installments may be offered.
- Grow with Impact: billed monthly in advance.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Invoices are due upon receipt. Work may be suspended if a payment is more than 15 days late.
4.3 Cancellation and refunds
- Before work starts: you may cancel and receive a full refund of any amount paid.
- After work has started: the initial payment covers the work already performed and is not refundable. If you cancel, any balance not yet due is waived.
- Coaching sessions can be rescheduled free of charge with at least 24 hours’ notice. Sessions cancelled with less notice may be counted as delivered.
- Grow with Impact can be cancelled at any time with 30 days’ written notice; the month in progress is not refunded.
- If we are unable to deliver a service we committed to, we will refund the portion not delivered.
To request a refund or raise a concern, email contact@pitchbureau.com. We will answer within 5 business days. We encourage you to contact us before opening a payment dispute so we can resolve the issue directly.
4.4 Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information and timely access to the people and materials needed for the engagement. Delays on your side may extend the delivery timeline.
4.5 Confidentiality
We keep confidential all non‑public information you share with us and use it only to deliver the service. A non‑disclosure agreement can be signed at your request before any exchange of sensitive information.
4.6 Intellectual property
Once paid in full, the final pitch materials created for you (pitches, executive summary, objection sheets) belong to you. We keep ownership of our methods, frameworks, tools and general know‑how, and we may reuse non‑confidential, anonymized learnings.
4.7 No guaranteed outcome
We help you clarify and deliver your message. Fundraising results, sales and investment decisions depend on many factors outside our control, so we cannot guarantee a specific outcome.
4.8 Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost funding.
4.9 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be submitted to the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, after an attempt to resolve it amicably.
